Description:
This is a piece of blue and white porcelain that I stumbled upon when I was visiting the mall, and I first noticed that the five bats and Shou peaches painted in the utensils had the meaning of Wufu Gongshou or Wufu Xianshou (Five Blessings with Long Life), and I had no idea of the words written in the outer circle. The owner said that he received it in Shenzhen in the early years, it should be a large pen holder for stationery supplies, and I thought to myself, it is not the word of the Tong (cylinder), but He (what). Anyway, last time did not have the change to buy another piece of Wufu Gongshou blue and white porcelain, this time I do not want to miss this piece again, the owner is very readily to give a price, can still accept, so bought it.

Back home to clean up this blue and white porcelain, blue and white in the color of calm, thick verdant, there are rust spots, the bottom of the vessel exposed without glaze, there is a faint flint red color. The inner sole is painted with the Wufu Gong Shou pattern, the inner circle is decorated with sea waves, and the outer circle written with seven characters.

After a good study of the Internet, I found that this is actually a sentence from the Tang Dynasty poet Li Shangyins work (Han Stele) - retiring from fasting and sitting in a small shack, staining with a large brush pen what a stunning posture. In the poem, the author agrees with the viewpoint of Han Yu (Pinghuai West Monument), advocates strengthening the centralization of power in the central governments, and gives a high evaluation of the unity of counterinsurgency, believing that the remediation chaos of the country is mainly due to the achievements of the prime minister, and the poem highly praises the great achievements of the prime minister Pei Du and implicitly criticizes Li Yus selfish and self-serving behavior. Finding the source and meaning of these characters is very proud, quickly record it, and also officially named this porcelain as Blue and White Sea Waves Pattern Wufu Gong Shou Study Room Brush Washer ¡V with 7 characters meaning dripping and staining with large brush what an incisively and stunning posture, implicating extraordinary and Ambition of Han.
